Statement for the Exhibition: Commuter
Commuter is a creative condition existing between departure and arrival. Commuters act out of necessity to routinely negotiate with discomfort, randomness, chance, and boredom. Conversely, Commuters also experience ease and standardization while executing strategy and maintaining vigilance. There is brilliance to be discovered while navigating these dichotomies of every-day life! In-between a decisive departure and an accomplished arrival, Commuters are empowered by being in a state of transit.
We are in the world. We are in our heads. We are not alone. We are creative against all odds.
